GUIDED TRAIL RIDES 

An Authentic Western Experience — Tailored Just for You

Trail riding at KB HORSES is unlike any typical nose-to-tail experience.
We own and know each of our horses as individuals, allowing us to create a ride that is personal, intentional, and truly memorable.

Every ride is private and custom-tailored to your group and riding ability. Whether you are brand new or experienced in the saddle, our goal is to help you feel confident, connected, and immersed in the landscape around you.

Because of our rugged, mountainous terrain, all rides are conducted at a walk, allowing you to safely enjoy the beauty of the backcountry while building a genuine partnership with your horse.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each trail ride begins with a guided introductory lesson, where you will learn:

  • The fundamentals of horsemanship

  • How to communicate with your horse

  • Basic riding techniques to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience

From there, you will head out on the trail with one of our experienced wranglers.

  • Beginner riders will be paired with calm, patient horses that prioritize safety and confidence

  • Experienced riders will enjoy responsive, well-trained horses that allow for a more refined and connected ride

Our horses are willing partners who take pride in their work, and it shows.

Trail Ride Options

All pricing listed below is before a 20% automatic gratuity.

Trail Ride Add-Ons & Assistance

$50 PER RIDER

Walk-In-Hand Assistance

For children under 8 years old, or riders who may need additional support, a wrangler will lead the horse from the ground.

For the safety of all guests, KB HORSES reserves the right to require assistance when necessary.

$50 FEE

Single Rider Supplement 

Private rides booked for one participant will include a single rider fee.

Engagements & Proposal Rides

Celebrate life’s most meaningful moments in a setting you’ll never forget.

Proposal rides are treated as an elevated, fully curated experience, with intentional planning and coordination to ensure everything unfolds seamlessly.

What this includes:

  • Additional time built into your ride (1 extra hour)

  • Behind-the-scenes coordination and timing with staff

  • Thoughtful preparation to create a meaningful, private moment

  • Dedicated use of ranch resources, horses, and wranglers

This is not simply an added fee—it reflects the care, planning, and attention required to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Service Change, Cancelation, No-Show, Late Arrival and Raincheck Policy Our change/cancellation deadline is 48 hours before the time of your service, except during the listed holidays when we do not accept any changes/cancellations. Please call our office 48 hours before your reservation to cancel the reservation. If you fail to reach or show up for your reservation, you are subject to 100 percent of the charge towards your reservation. ​ If you arrive at the ranch for your reservation more than 15-minutes late, you will be expected to pay a $50 late fee. ​ A $50 charge will be added to your reservation if you make any last-minute changes, such as adding or removing individuals to and from your scheduled reservation outside the 48-hour window. Inclement weather is the only exception to the 48-hour cancellation policy; ranch management will make the call if there is a need to cancel or reschedule due to unsafe conditions. ​ If you cancel or reschedule your ride after the 48-hour window, you will be charged for your ride in total. You will be granted a RAINCHECK, a receipt showing you paid for your original reservation in total, and will be able to use it at a different time within 365 days of the canceled reservation. ​ For further information, don't hesitate to get in touch with our office - 435-315-9950.

Holiday Reservation Policy
We kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice on all changes and cancellations. But, because holidays book up quickly, adjustments during the dates listed above will require at least one week’s notice.
